The present Gender Equality Plan (GEP) is a revised version of the GEP 2022-24 of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, which was prepared under the responsibility of the former Committee for Gender Equality in collaboration with the European Project “RESET – Redesigning Equality and Scientific Excellence Together” (No. Contract: 101006560). The revision of the GEP was launched in spring 2024 within the RESET European Project (in the absence of an active Committee), while the final text submitted for approval was prepared in accordance with the provisions of Law 4957/2022, Article 218, para. 3, by the new Committee for Gender Equality and Anti-Discrimination of the AUTH.

The Gender Equality and Anti-Discrimination Plan [Reference Period: November 2024 to November 2027] was approved by the Senate of the AUTh at its meeting no. 3151/23-10-2024 and updated at its meeting no. 3155/23-12-2024.
